BURY 10K – SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER 2019.

Our brother and sister team David Goodyear and Annie Kisluk took to the red rose county for this weekend’s jaunt. A fun and friendly run, the Bury 10k provides all the motivation you need to pull on those trainers and take on a challenge. The event is staged in partnership with the Bury based I will if you will (IWIYW) fitness movement, which is delivered by Bury council with lottery funds from Sport England. Starting and finishing close to the Rock, the course is suitable for all abilities from beginners just starting out on their fitness journey to experienced runners looking for a personal best. This event was Annie and David’s pick of the weekend and it didn’t disappoint. A well marshalled course with local crowds clapping and cheering all the way. There was even a free medal engraving service courtesy of Asda’s Marco Alessi. In Annie’s own words they “absolutely loved the race” David finished in 54:37 and Annie in 52:44 Great running and well done both!
