ROUNDHAY PARK 10K – SUNDAY 29TH SEPT 2019

Amongst this busy weekend of racing, the Run Yorkshire Roundhay 10k also suffered as the inclement weather made this undulating 10k race challenging.  Aptly named, the race takes place in the iconic setting of Roundhay Park in Leeds, this is one of the biggest city parks in Europe. Nearly a million people visit this attraction each year. It has more than 700 acres of Parkland, lakes woodland and gardens; the run is 2 laps of the Park including the lake and a climb up to the mansion house.

Annie Kisluk and David Goodyear chose this one today, as with almost all locations, unfortunately the weather was not playing the game and a constant downpour made the conditions challenging and soggy.

Annie finished in 55:43 and David 57:09. Great running and well done!
