Not satisfied with a full marathon last Sunday, David Goodyear opted to spend a soggy Saturday running this 20 mile out and back scenic fast and flat route along the beautiful Leeds Liverpool canal tow path. With seven distances on offer from 5k to the Ultra and everything in between, there was plenty of scope for all runners to find a suitable discipline. Unfortunately low pressure over most of the UK this weekend meant this was inevitably going to be a puddle hopping mud stomping spectacle. Not outdone by the elements David romped home as always with grit and determination posting a time of (03:41:53) Brilliant running David well done!
