INSKIP HALF MARATHON – SUNDAY 19TH JANUARY 2020

posted in: Race Reports | 0

The race of choice for Paul Croston this weekend was the Inskip Half Marathon over in Preston, Lancashire. Billed as having potential for those chasing a personal best, this small but popular race starts and finishes on the 5269 road, just south of Inskip and has a race limit of just 300. Met with freezing fog, this, the 21st edition of the race hosted by UK Road Races is described as a mildly undulating, fast course taking in the lanes of the Wyre & Fylde countryside. After the race there was a meat or veg hot lunch for each runner, no doubt most welcome on such a chilly, winter day as it was today.

Paul finished the race in 2:00:49. Really well done!
