On a cold, slightly soggy and windy Sunday morning three Eccleshill Road Runners braved the elements to clock up another notch on their running belts. Hosted by Huddersfield Road Runners Athletic Club this race has been held every year since 1990 on the last Sunday in February with runners returning year on year. The Huddersfield 10k often sells out and 2020 was no exception as 700 places were sanpped up with wannabes having to join a waiting list. David Goodyear, Annie Kisluk who this weekend took a break from the marathon distance along with club mate Mick Hogan, tackled this undulating (Yorkshire style!) little number, it does though, boast a fast downhill to the finish. A quality technical t-shirt awaited all finishers. Annie led the team home in 57:05 followed by David 61:40 and Mick 67:15. Well done to you all!
