Just one Eccleshill Road Runner braved this challenging trail half marathon in and around the beautiful town of Baildon. Tony Redmond was the only representative for the blue and whites in this the 26th Edition of the race, hosted by Baildon Road Runners, this year they enlisted the services of Racebest and EvenSplits to make their iconic race chip timed and Covid Secure. Runners were treated to perfect weather for race day but due to previous down pours conditions under foot were extremely challenging with mud aplenty in places, coupled with the steep climbs this one is no walk in the park! In a novel twist, entrants were given the choice of a tee shirt for a memento or alternatively they could choose to have a tree planted on their behalf!
Tony finished the race in 2:24:32, well done!
