Sarah Rawlings togged up in blue and white to represent Eccleshill in this spring extravaganza hosted by “ It’s Grim Up North Running. Runners were invited to experience the magic of running through the beautiful bluebell woods in the grounds of the stunning Temple Newsam in Leeds. This trail run is billed as being perfect for new and experienced runners alike. On offer were 6.7 miles or 1 lap then the half marathon 2 laps. For those wanting to go further distances there was also a 20 mile 3 lap option or a 4 lap marathon. There was plenty of mud and hills to contend with, whichever distance you opted for. To compensate, the beautiful bluebells in the contrasting grounds of this stunning estate were ample reward. Finishers were also rewarded with a Bluebell buff, beer and chocolate, what’s not to like? Sarah chose the half marathon distance and completed it in 2:10:06. Fantastic running, well done!
