Finishing off a busy weekend of racing, Eccleshill’s David Goodyear took himself off to the beautiful village of Grassington today and joined the start line in his blue and white vest to take part in this event. The Red Tractor trail run is a 4.5 mile race starting and finishing at Grassington Primary school. It’s a steady route with one big hill to test you half way through. It is a multi terrain course which contains some hills but the effort that runners put into this is rewarded with stunning views which make it more than worthwhile. All monies raised go to Grassington Primary School PTA. There was also a separate fun run held in nearby fields, open for children up to the age of 11 to take part in and enjoy. On what turned out to be perfect running conditions, David finished his jaunt in (51:04) Great running David. Well done!
