Experience the excitement of track racing!
Eccleshill’s Daniel Jenkins is racing back to back this weekend. Starting with a rare 1 mile track race to warm up for what is in store tomorrow! The Leeds Golden Mile gives runners a chance to race the classic one mile distance on an official athletics track. The event, organised by race timing company Evensplits is open to all runners regardless of their speed! Based upon their predicted time, participants compete in a heat with runners of the same ability. They also offer separate heats for the youngsters, 6-11 year olds and 12-16 year olds. All finishers received a certificate and there were also prizes awarded for heat winners.
