This was the second race of a back to back pair this weekend for Dan Jenkins after completing a 50 mile ultra on Saturday. Another Eccleshill Road Runner taking part was Robert Sutton. This ever popular event hosted by Kirkstall Harriers Running Club supports the Wheatfields Hospice in memory of Harriers Stephen Blades and Paul Reynard. The chip timed, mostly flat route starts and finishes in the grounds of the stunning Kirkstall Abbey and takes in the riverside paths and the canal towpath as well as road and the grounds. Every finisher received a medal and a bottled beer. Both Dan and Rob finished the race in 65:19 A brilliant effort representing the blue and whites once again. Great running, well done!
