A crisp Autumnal morning greeted runners & walkers to Robert’s park, Saltaire for the first birthday celebrations of said parkrun. Joining in the celebrations were a group of 14 Eccleshill runners and (guess who) one of those chose to run dressed as a cow (or was it a bull?!!). Confetti canons sounded the start of the 5k event which, as expected, was very well attended this week no doubt the promise of cake attracted large numbers! 493 runners and walkers crossed the finish line making for a fabulous celebration!
