Eccleshill’s Daniel Jenkins travelled to the beautiful village of Kettlewell in Upper Wharfedale, North Yorkshire for the Kettlewell trail Half Marathon. Hosted by Due North, the race is billed as ‘challenging’ with around 900m of ascent. The route takes runners over 3 steep climbs and each descent thrilling enough to give them the adrenaline rush ready to take on the next climb. These hills reward participants with spectacular views of Wharfedale, in fact, some of the most beautiful scenery in the Yorkshire dales. Riverside footpaths, rolling moors and grassy descents make this a race not to be missed. Adding to the challenge was the hot, sunny weather, however, Dan ‘plodded’ round with a running friend finishing in 2:41 (unoffcial) Results TBC
