Today Eccleshill race support was much greater than the participation! Dan Jenkins donned the blue & white at the Morley 10k this weekend, coming down off the hills and dales in search of another recovery run found himself amid a hill fest, once again completing back to back races! Dan was joined in the race by second claim member Ian Storey. This fully marshalled and sign posted local race is hosted by Morley Running Club, the race starts on Wide Lane, heads up into town via Middleton Road, then it’s down past the Town Hall and all the way down to Morley Bottoms.The route then heads out towards the Gelderd Road junction and turns back on itself to Morley Bottoms once more, finally a third slightly different loop brings runners back to the finish near the town Hall. All runners crossing the finish line were rewarded with a medal and a digital goody bag.
Dan finished in 59:14 & Ian 59:15 great running, well done!
