The newly titled ‘rock up ‘n’ run’ Summer evening series of races hosted by It’s Grim Up North Running is now in it’s second week. Rocking up to this week’s venue at Kirkstall was Eccleshill’s very own Sarah Rawlings. She certainly did rock up on one of the few Summer evenings we’ve had so far this year too, making for hot and muggy conditions for the run along the canal towpath. Simply an out and back for a distance of your choosing, 5k or 10k, again no need to decide until you get there to register and pay. Running next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, just a 2 minute walk from the Bridge Shopping Centre at Kirkstall, at the junction of Wyther Lane and Broad Lane. Sarah chose the 10k distance and finished in a brilliant time of 60:40. Really well done!
