BRADFORD 10K – SUNDAY 1ST JUNE, 2025

Eccleshill had just one runner at this year’s Epilepsy Action Bradford 10K – our very own Yorkshire Hobbit, John Turner joined around 1200 other runners on the startline. John put in a strong and steady performance to finish in 55 minutes and 26 seconds (Unoffical – results not yet availible). This fast, flat city-centre course is a favourite among local runners looking for a PB or simply to enjoy the uplifting atmosphere, with hundreds lining the route in support of a fantastic cause. John kept his pace consistent throughout, navigating the route through the heart of Bradford with determination and a smile. It was a great morning of running in support of Epilepsy Action and a welcome return to the race Calendar for this popular race in it’s 15th edition, this year also celebrating the 75th anniversary of Epilepsy Action. Near perfect conditions with the exception of the off shower made for the perfect opportunity for those chasing their personal best to do just that. Since it began in 2008 the race has raised well over £600,000 for Epilepsy Action. Well done, John, great running!
