Eccleshill’s Emma Callaghan took on the Hartlepool Half Marathon on the north-east coast this weekend, finishing in an impressive 1:52:39. Known for its flat and fast coastal route, the race takes runners around the seafront and through the streets of Hartlepool, with plenty of local support helping to create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the 13.1 miles. Emma put in a brilliant performance, pacing the course strongly and producing another excellent result. Finishing comfortably under the two-hour mark, she showed great consistency and determination from start to finish. A fantastic effort and another strong performance on the half marathon circuit — well done Emma!
