A plethora of events make up the Cragg Challenge from 1 mile, 5k, 10k, 10 mile and also various cycle sportive challenges. All events are out-and-back routes taking place on the Oliver Collinge Climb/Cragg Road, reprtedly the longest continuous incline in England (the B6138) and featured in the 2014 Tour de France! The start/finish line is alongside Royd Ices in Mytholmroyd, also home of the infamous Cragg Vale Coiners. Eccleshill’s John Turner took on the 10 mile option which is the full climb of the longest continuous incline and back, 5 miles up followed by 5 miles back down! John Finished in a fabulous time of 1:34:47, Well done!
