HALIFAX 10K – SUNDAY 5TH APRIL, 2026

posted in: Race Reports | 0

Eccleshill Road Runners were well represented on Easter Sunday as Ian Stow and Barbara Stow took on the New Halifax 10K, hosted by Halifax Harriers. This challenging local race is known for its undulating course around Halifax, offering a tough but rewarding test for runners over the 10K distance. Leading the way for Eccleshill was Ian Stow, who put in an excellent run to finish in a strong 49:29, dipping comfortably under the 50-minute mark on a testing course. Barbara Stow followed with a determined effort, crossing the line in 68:48, continuing her consistent run of performances as part of her ongoing training. A fantastic effort from both runners on a busy bank holiday weekend, proudly representing the club and making the most of the Easter racing calendar. Well done Ian and Barbara!
