Eccleshill’s Annie Kisluk chose the Mighty Morley 10K for the first weekend of October racing. This popular race is a community focused road race organised by Morley Running Club, with proceeds supporting local good causes. Celebrating the 5th Birthday of the race, finishers were rewarded with a fabulous medal that depicted the celebrations. The single lap 10K course takes runners through the historic streets of Morley on fully closed roads. An undulating profile provides a few testing climbs, while two out and back sections and a distinctive three way crossover at Morley Bottoms give the route plenty of character. Local spectators provide enthusiastic support around the course. Perfect conditions for running today made for a great opportunity for PB chasersThe race welcomes everyone from experienced club runners to first time 10K participants and fancy dress runners, with wheelchair racers also encouraged to take part. Annie finished in a brilliant time of 66:03, Well done!
