Getting back into the swing of almost regular running saw David Goodyear flying the mighty blue and white in this Grim up North’s “Glorious Gargarve Half Marathon” It takes place in the Yorkshire Dales just outside Skipton. This established event, is an out and back route alongside the canal . A mixture of canal towpath and grass provides a little variety whilst the delightful scenery provided the perfect distraction. This event also rewards all participants with a BBQ finish, strawberries and cream. A medal chocolate and beer which David had no reservations in taking after crossing the finish line in 02:11:25 Brilliant running David, great effort and well done!
