The Escrick 10k is a flat, scenic multi-terrain 10km course, running on-road for the start and finish sections and then on paths and bridleways within the picturesque Escrick Park Estate.
The run starts and finishes on the Escrick Village Green which is on Carr Lane and has a quaint pond with a bridge in the middle – and car parking available at Queen Margaret’s school. The first and last km are mostly on tarmac, the rest of the race is mostly bridleways through the Escrick Park Estate. Depending on weather conditions, there can be some muddy sections through the woods. Tony Redmond was Eccleshill’s own representative this year and finished the race in 58:19. Well done Tony!
