posted in: Race Reports | 0

This popular local race, a distance of 7 mile with an entry limit of 450 racers is multi terrain, mostly flat course organised by Kirkstall Harriers and attracts runners from far and wide. Chip timed, it starts and finishes in the spectacular grounds of Kirkstall Abbey. The Abbey is a ruined cistercian monastery North West of Leeds city centre and is set in a public Park on the North bank of the River Aire. The route with it’s picturesque views takes in the riverside paths and the canal towpath as well as the road and the grounds of the Abbey. Funds raised this year go to support Wheatfields Hospice and in memory of Stephen Blades and Paul Reynard.

David Goodyear and Annie Kisluk continue to rack up their 2021 race profile in what seems to be a particularly busy Summer for them. David crossed the line in (01:07:23) and Annie in (01:05:29) Excellent running, well done!
