Annie Kisluk and David Goodyear continue to rack up the race miles garbed in the blue and white ERR livery. This time a fun yet challenging run around the woods in Hopton, it’s billed as a great introduction to trail running. It is basically an undulating route over mixed terrain with a few steady climbs, 60% trail and 40% road. The woods and fields around Hopton are a brilliant place to run offering some great variety. There are steep climbs, woodland glades, bridleways, and a great views over the Calder Valley. All proceeds go to support Hopton primary school. a mixture of sunshine, wind and light showers kept the field on their toes. All runners received a technical running t-shirt on the completion of the race. David finished in 1:09:29 and Annie finished in 1:10:08. Both found the race tough going but absolutely loved it. Great running once again, well done!
