Hosted by Crazylegs events, the Stockport Trail half marathon is billed as perfect training for that Spring marathon. Visiting his old stomping ground Daniel Jenkins travelled over to Stockport for this race in the industrial town in Greater Manchester. Now in its 8th year, this popular half marathon trail race takes place along the picturesque Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal. Race HQ was at Marple 6th Form college jus a short walk away from the start/finish area near Middlewood Way car park on Wood Lane, Marple. The organisers are actively working towards reducing waste at their races, therefore a medal is an optional extra for a small fee. Overcast conditions today made for perfect conditions for running and Dan obliged storming home in a fabulous time of 01:37:18 coming in the top ten in his age category! Well done Dan!
