Last minute decision’s came into play last night after Gillian Jago realised that she needed to do a long run but had entered a 10k. Why not do both? So to keep her ultra running training fresh and dandy, she met up with her running buddy and after completing the 10k added no less than 20 more miles to it. The St Helens 2023 GPW Recruitment 10k starts and finishes at the Totally Wicked Stadium with the route taking in the Prescot Bridge, Saints Stadium, the slopes of North Road and Victoria Park. Runners race back to the Totally Wicked Stadium to the roar of hundreds of spectators, supporters and live musicians as they cross the finish line! Collecting her well deserved finisher’s medal and t-shirt Gillian posted a super chip time of 52.36. Fantastic running, well done!
