Eccleshill’s Annie Kisluk took on the challenge of the St Michael’s `hospice 10k trail race. Organised by North Yorkshire Hospice Care, the race offered both 5k and 10k distances. and also the St michael’s littlies fun run, provinding a day out for all the family!
The start and finish was hosted at Crimple House, the home of the hospice. The course featured a mix of scenic paths, gentle hills, and open spaces to keep things dynamic but friendly for all abilities. Runners can take this run at their own pace — push themselves or enjoy a steady walk with friends. Everyone is welcome. The atmosphere was lively with music, cheering supporters, and refreshments at the hospice. While there’s a route, logistics and support (hydration stations, marshals, first aid) will all be in place. Annie finished the race in 1:20:12, well done!
