THE WELCOME WAY HALF MARARTHON – SATURDAY, 14TH MARCH, 2026

Eccleshill Road Runners were represented on the trails once again as Annie Kisluk took on the challenging Punk Panther Welcome Way Half Marathon, completing the demanding course in 3:28:56. The race, which is in fact 14 miles, follows sections of the scenic Welcome Way around the Brontë countryside, taking runners across a tough mix of moorland trails, woodland paths, and testing climbs. True to Punk Panther form, the course offered plenty of elevation along with some spectacular views across the Yorkshire landscape. Despite the demanding terrain and relentless hills, Annie tackled the route with determination, keeping a steady pace throughout and digging deep to bring home a strong finish. A fantastic effort on a notoriously tough trail half marathon — well done Annie for flying the Eccleshill colours on the moors!
