Eccleshill Road Runners were back in action today as Emma Callaghan took on the ever-popular Helmsley 10K on Easter Sunday, finishing in a strong 54:11. Set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, the race is known for its scenic but undulating course, taking runners through the picturesque market town of Helmsley and out into the surrounding countryside. With a mix of steady climbs and fast sections, it’s a race that rewards smart pacing and determination. Emma put in a fantastic performance, running strongly throughout and tackling the course with confidence to secure an excellent time on a challenging route. A brilliant effort on a busy bank holiday weekend and great representation of the club — well done Emma!
