Eccleshill’s Annie Kisluk had a shorter distance to travel this weekend, visiting neighbouring Huddersfield for the Lindley 10k. Runners will have welcomed marginally cooler temperatures than the recent hot spell we have experienced and with an early start conditions were a little more comfortable. but still very warm. The start is the center of Lindley village near Huddersfield. Hosted by Lindley Runners, the race starts and finishes on Lidget Street near Lindley library. Billed as a challenging one lap 10K through Lindley and the surrounding hills, combining scenic roads with rewarding climbs and descents. Annie finished in 68:31, fabulous well done!
