POST HILL CHALLENGE – SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER, 2026

Two Eccleshill Road Runners, Linda Bussey & Jackie Bywater were brave enough to accept the challenge, Post Hill Challenge to be precise!! Hosted by Pudsey Pacers Running Club this local race may only be 5.6km but it is reputed to be short, savage and a lot of fun! The main draw is apparently Post Hill itself, it resembles an old Roman road, but it was built in the 1920s for motorbike hill climbs, and it shows. Features include; two loops an insane gradient, cobbles, rocks and precipitously steep. Particpants have, therefore, to make their way up it twice (notice we didn’t say run)! In between, the two loops take them through woodland trails with muddy conditions underfoot. Jackie triumphed in 45:28 & Linda 49:48, really well done ladies on conquering that hill not once but twice!!
