The Escrick 10k is a flat, scenic multi-terrain 10km course, running on-road for the Start and Finish sections and then on paths and bridleways within the Escrick Park Estate.
The race provides a unique opportunity to run along picturesque tracks and trails not normally open to the public. The run starts and finishes on the Escrick Village Green. The event is subject to UKA rules. This chip timed race is number 15 in our summer championships line up which provides valuable points for the tables. Sarah’s Myers and Rawlings respectively represented our club at this popular event. On what turned out to be good running conditions our two ladies did us really proud with Sarah Rawlings finishing in 00:57:13 and Sarah Myers in 1:07:32. Both receiving a finishers medal and chocolate bar at the finish line. Brilliant running girls, well done!
